HOW IT WORKS
THE BASICS
3-hour camps at our Chandler location
Monday–Friday (except week of July 3)
9am - 12pm: Elementary (ages 6–10)
1pm - 4pm: Middle School (ages 11–14)
SAME THEME. DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE.
Each week has a shared theme—but projects and techniques are tailored by age:
Ages 6-10 (morning): Handbuilding only, with a focus on creativity and fun! Campers will learn to pinch, slab and coil build, and will have lots of time to decorate.
Ages 11-14 (afternoon): Handbuilding + optional wheel throwing. Our older campers will learn handbuilding basics with more independence and advanced techniques. They’ll also get to try throwing on the wheel!
WHAT THEY’LL MAKE
Every camper goes home with multiple finished pieces (after firing).
Cups, bowls, and functional pieces
Sculptures, animals, and creative builds
Wearable pieces (like jewelry and accessories)
Personalized items they’ll actually use
IMPORTANT STUFF
-
Camp costs $250 for 5, 3-hour sessions (except Bling Thing because it’s only 4 days).
-
Our camps are small, hands-on, and carefully planned—so once a spot is booked, we start prepping materials, staffing, and kiln space just for your kid.
Because of that, here’s how cancellations and rescheduling work:
We do not allow cancellations or offer refunds, so please be sure!
You can reschedule up to 2 weeks before camp start date.
If your child can’t make it, you’re welcome to send another kid in their place—just let us know ahead of time and make sure they meet the age requirements.
-
Missed sessions can’t be rescheduled or refunded.
-
Nope—most don’t have any. Our instructors will meet your kids where they are.
-
Clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
-
Typically 2–3 weeks after camp.
WEEKLY CAMPS
BUILD A PET
What kind of pet would you create if you could have any animal on earth? We’ll build our dream pets—and all their accessories: bowls, toys, beds…you name it.
May 25 - 29
I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM
We all scream for ice cream!! Campers will make and glaze their own functional ice cream bowls—then celebrate with a Friday ice cream social. (Parents welcome!)
June 1 - 5
There be monsters here… We’ll create our favorite beasties and mount them on wooden plaques. Forget monsters under the bed—you can hang yours on the wall.
June 8 - 12
MONSTER TAXIDERMY
A Pip classic. We’ll make functional planters with personality—maybe one that looks like your pet…or a chia-pet that looks like your dad.
June 15 - 19
PLANT BUDDIES
KITCHEN GADGETS & COOKIE DECORATING
We’re making silly tools to use in the kitchen—juicers, berry bowls, egg separators—and wrapping up the week by learning how to decorate cookies!
June 22 - 26
BLING THING
During this shorter week, we’ll work in polymer clay to create pins, bracelets, pendants, charms, keychains, and beads. Thursday = assembly day, so campers leave with a full wearable collection.
June 29 - July 2
Another Pip favorite. We’ll build magical homes, mini furniture, and tiny decor—then bring it all to life with color and detail. Time to get magical…the fae way.
July 6 - 10
FAIRY HOUSES
We’ll create a full back-to-school essentials kit using clay and polymer: personalized pencil cups, pen toppers, phone stands (middle school), desk buddies (elementary), and bag tags.
July 13 - 17
