Studio Info/FAQ

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS INFOMost of our classes and workshops are not sold as a series. Our thinking is that you take exactly as many classes as you need/want and practice during open studio. While our instructors will work with you at your current level, we ask that wheel throwing beginners only sign up for beginner classes. Also see: WHERE ARE MY BISQUED OR FIRED PIECES?
-
OPEN STUDIO INFOOpen Studio gives students freedom and time for independent practice. These are un-guided, 3-hour sessions that require a sign up. There will be a Pip person around to answer questions, but not to teach. Beginners must first take one of our classes Glazing and trimming must be done during an open studio session Label and date all work in progress Work in progress can be stored for 1 week on the shelves in the kiln room. After one week, we will recycle your pieces. Please be cleaned up and ready to leave at the 3-hour mark Also see: WHERE ARE MY BISQUED OR FIRED PIECES? PLEASE NOTE: we are no longer offering 1-time Open Studio use. In order to sign up for open studio, users will need to have an open studio pack code. You'll receive your code, as always, in your confirmation email. What's new is that you will also receive the password for the open studio sign up page via email. If, for some reason you don't, please contact us.
-
PACKAGES INFOWe offer 4 and 8-packs for both classes and open studio. If you buy a package, you'll be sent a code to use when booking. Can I share? Yes! You can use your 4 or 8-pack to book classes for more than 1 person. The more the merrier!

CAN I CANCEL/RESCHEDULE?Cancellations: We don't allow cancellations or refunds for any of our classes, courses, open studio sessions or workshops. Rescheduling: You can reschedule your class free of charge up to 18 hours before class start time by clicking the "Reschedule" button in your confirmation or reminder email. Please note: we can not accommodate rescheduling within 18 hours of class—for any reason. We're a small studio and are unable to fill those spots on such short notice. Thanks for your understanding. *Please note that this applies to both Covid-related and non-Covid reschedules.

Work to be fired: When your work is ready to fire—bisque or glaze—please put it on the labeled carts in the studio.
