Step 1: Fold and Pin
Fold your fabric right sides together and pin the sides in place

Step 2: Sew your side seams
Sew down both side edges using a ½” seam allowance.

Step 3: Make the Bottom Corners
Open one bottom corner and flatten it into a triangle. Pin and sew straight across. Repeat on the other side.

Step 4: Press your top hem
Fold the top edge down—twice for a finished edge—and press it flat.

Step 5: Attach straps and sew top hem
Place straps evenly on both sides of the bag and tuck strap ends under the folded top hem. Pin in place and sew all the way around the top edge, reinforce with extra stitching.
