Tired of watching the centering demo? Pottery Nerds sound overwhelming? Try our in-between class, Advanced Beginners! 

Although you can expect most of your time to be focused on new throwing skills... 

1st Saturdays of the month, the beginning of class will go over glazing techniques (so bring bisqued pieces and questions!) 

3rd Saturdays of the month will touch on t
rimming techniques.

Other weeks will be loosely structured.


All firings and studio glazes are included. Studio clay included during class. Additional clay can be purchased at Pip.


Age & Ability

This class is for students 14+ who are familiar with the steps to throw a cylinder

Before you book...

Cancellations: We don't allow cancellations or refunds for any of our classes, courses, open studio sessions or workshops.

Rescheduling: You can reschedule your class free of charge up to 18 hours before class start time by clicking the "Reschedule" button in your confirmation or reminder email.  Please note: we can not accommodate rescheduling within 18 hours of class—for any reason including COVID-19. We're a small studio and are unable to fill those spots on such short notice. Thanks for your understanding.

Picking up your work: Class pieces will be stored for a 6 weeks from your class date. Open studio pieces will be stored for a month from bisque/glazing date. After a month, unattended pots will be thrown away in order to preserve space in our small studio.
